Gemma’s home boarding really is ‘home from home’. Our cocker spaniel absolutely loves his holidays here. Amazing long walks and exercise, bundles of love and play. Just what we are after when he is being looked after. He is a very energetic 2 year old but with all the lovely walks and play time he has he comes home ready for bed! Wouldn’t use anyone else to look after our fur baby. Thank you Home on the Levels Dog Boarding.

Six months ago we purchased our gorgeous cockapoo puppy from Gemma. When we purchased him one thing worrying me was our pre-booked family holidays - Gemma suggested she could have him, as she was thinking of setting up what is now Home on the Levels Dog Boarding. A day and night trial was a success Chester loved being with Gemma, Craig, the children, Daisy his mum and Willow. Fast forward to our holiday and Chester was a nightmare . . . he wouldn't be left without a human; he cried every night - waking not only the other dogs but the children too and his anxieties went through the roof. Despite a massive lack of sleep Gemma persevered and tried everything - Chester was so happy by day, he loved his long, muddy field walks. Loved his playtime and interactions with the other dogs and the children and his evening cuddles with Gemma and Craig - but sleep was a massive problem. I was gutted as I didn't want Chester going anywhere else but wasn't sure how we could overcome this. Gemma has stayed in close contact and we've come up with a plan of Chester spending one day a week with them to build his confidence and get him used to being left with the other dogs and eventually building this up to overnight stays. Texts phone calls, videos and pictures are never too much trouble for Gemma, she has the patience of a saint and clearly loves all the dogs. I just hope Chester learns to sleep for them so he can continue to spend lots more fun times with this lovely family who I am sure love him just as much as we do in our absence.
